Objective: To provide qualified expert support in the development of a legal framework for the selection of judges, updating the criteria and general testing system for the selection of candidates for vacant positions in the judicial system of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Implementation Timeline: March 2022-September 2022
Project Objectives:
To assist the Council for Justice and the Council of Judges to actualize test questions and answers, case assignments, interview questions (bring in line with legislation) for candidates for judicial positions;
To assist the Council for Justice and the Council of Judges in drafting normative legal acts regulating the activities of the Council for Justice in the selection of judges, including updating the criteria for the selection of candidates for judicial positions;
Prepare Guidelines for the selection of judges, developed on the basis of the current legislation and the modernized electronic testing system.
